Across America

and we were off...

It took us about two weeks to drive from San Francisco to New York City. As foreigners we felt the journey was actually really comfortable and oddly familiar to other road trips we've taken. Small towns drifted in and out of our peripheral. We were in awe of the natural beauty between these oceans. People are making it work in any circumstances in America. The racial and economic divides were very obvious almost everywhere we went but the optimism of the post 2008 recession was uplifting to see. No matter how you look at it, America is truly an iconic place with bits of history etched deep in the fabric of progress.
